Since 1986 Advokatfirman af Petersens assists banks, financial institutes, companies
in the market for credit, factoring companies and we are focused on providing
legal assistance in relation to all types of matters regarding financial transactions
as well as credit and insolvency matters. Advokatfirman af Petersens is an active
member of Svenska Kreditföreningen (see www.kreditforeningen.sewww.kreditforeningen.se)
(The Swedish Credit Association) and attorney Staffan Wilow, director of Svenska
Kreditföreningen, is together with attorney Kristoffer Sparring responsible
for the Association’s Law department, which on behalf of the Association
is issuing opinions, cover judgements and legislation etc. Several of our lawyers
also have experience from work at financial institutes and we thereby have a specific
knowledge of the characteristics in this field and the need for a quick, cost
effective and a quality-conscious assistance in drafting agreements as well as
in litigation.
We also assist creditors and insolvent companies by handling winding up procedures,
receiverships, appointments as administrators in company reorganisations, compositions
with creditors, voluntary company reorganisation procedures, liquidations,
and representation in litigation and arbitration.
